Movilidade Budapest 2026

  As it was Saturday, we could relax in the morning. My exchange partner and I went out for lunch with her grandparents and her aunt. We spent the whole afternoon with them, chatting and enjoying our time together. After that, we met up with the others to go to a bar with music and have something to drink. A couple of hours later, we went home.

  The day started with school at 10 a.m., so we didn't have to get up too early. After classes, we went to "Cinema Mystica", a building with different rooms full of 3D figures, lights and animations. We spent some time there and then went to a café to try the famous "Chimney Cake". We decided to have it with ice cream, and we really liked it! We also took the opportunity to see the Budapest Moon again. We walked around for a while and watched the sunset from the riverbank, opposite Buda Castle. We also took the train to enjoy the views. After that, we each went home.

  This morning we went to school at 9 a.m. and stayed there until 3:30 p.m. After that, we visited a library called Fővárosi Szabó Ervin Library, which is famous for its beautiful and impressive design. We walked around the library to see the different rooms and then stayed in one of them for about two hours to do some homework. It was a really nice experience because being able to study in such a beautiful library is a privilege. After that, we went out for dinner. We all decided to go to a restaurant called "Smashy", where they make smash burgers. You can only find these restaurants in Budapest and New York. We got our burgers to take away and went to Liberty Bridge to eat them while enjoying the beautiful views. It was already dark, so everything looked amazing. About an hour later, we each went home. It was a wonderful day and we really enjoyed it.

  Today was our first day of classes. We stayed all the morning knowing the school and we had our firsts lessons. In the afternoon we went to “Margot Island”. An island in the middle of the river. It was so pretty we saw a lot of beautiful landscapes and animals. Because they have a kind of a small zoo inside the island with some animals like ducks, rabbits or birds. And we   saw a lot of butterflies too. After this we went to buy a Gyros to eat in a banch in front of the Parlament. After this eachone come to them house. It was a very nice day.  

    We didn’t have school today because we went to a college fair where we played several games to win prizes. We took a walk and went out to eat with María and Kati so we could say goodbye to our teacher María, whose flight was at 4 p.m.   After lunch, we went to visit the “Mercado Central,” where there were many shops selling traditional foods, souvenirs, and all sorts of other things. After that we went to a shopping centre and we stayed un hour more or less all of us. After Kyra and me went to our house and at 7 we went to Kyra’s dance class.At 8 her father pick up us and we come home.

In the morning, we rested quite a bit because we were tired from the trip, and we had lunch around 1:00 p.m. We took public transportation and went to watch a women’s soccer game featuring a friend of Kyra’s who plays for Frodita.   Later, we all met up and went to Fashion Street, a shopping district where we saw the MOON Budapest store. We strolled through the shops and headed to a mall to go to the movies and watch the film “Variety.” It’s not the kind of movie that I usually watch, but we all liked it. Everyone had whatever they wanted for dinner, in my case an hamburger, and then we all went home.
